ABSOLUTELY FREE! im sure this has been posted before but i just kinda thought it up after school today.. i recently had to replace my dome light becaus emy old one blew, so i bought 2 powerful blue xenon bulbs... the light that it produces isnt actually blue, just the bulb itself is. unfortunately i was hopnig the light would be blue too... so heres what i came up with:
buy some seran wrap (color of your choice) and cut u a small amount (make sure to double it up) so that it will fit into the clear aprt of the moon roof/light unit. then place it on the inner part of the clear area and connect it back to the roof... turn on your light and voloa! colored interior lighting :)
i've only tried this w/ green because it was the only color i had readily available at the time, but tomorrow i plan on buying some blue to match my footwell neons + head unit.

They do come in different colors that actually glow the color they're supposed to, as opposed to the xenons he bought apparently. The wrap is gonna sit very close to the bulbs and will melt and possibly start a fire if you accidentaly leave your door open with the dome light on or something of that nature. I also don't see how this is "ABSOLUTELY FREE!"
Ps. I had blue neon tubes overhead in my Eclipse, when lit the entire interior was glowing blue, they quickly came down after the coolest girl I've ever known said she felt like she was in some Smurf world, kinda killed it for me. :)

Just pick whichever color you want (endless amount of different colors). Make sure it's just a sheet and not a roll. Just about all of them are heat resistant, and used for professional light filtering.

Why not just buy a colored bulb? I bought a pack of two blue bulbs for $10. Unscrew panel, change bulbs, screw panel back. Don't need to wrap anything...
