What u guys think about SE-R V Spec

The new 02 nissan Sentra SE-R V Spec. it has 175hp( only 80% going to the wheels thou???) 180ft torque. it weight 2753lb i think. Interior is werid but original disign would look good on a red or black car. i say celica's have a new competition. i heard aem is already working on an intake too. after market starting up and it only been out for 3 months lol. I am really thinking about getting this car over the celica. It doesn't look half as good. but it is like 3-4+k cheaper then a gts loaded vs loaded.

Keep in mind that Nissan has been having trouble with overating the engines. I am not sayin that it will happen here, but wait and see a dyno. If HP is what matters to you between the two cars, then look at the wheel HP. Also keep in mind that the celica is 2500 lbs (which helps in more than just straight line accelleration), brakes like crazy, and drive them both to see if you like them.

I think it's a great value. With about $3-4k I could see these in the high 13s NA.

Well i think the sentra gets 141 wbhp and the celica gets what 150 wbhp. The celica GTS would win out of a race being faster and lighter, but the compression on the sentra se-r v spec is 9.1 :1 thier is room for upgradeing lol

If you want to see a message board discussing the SE-R spec V check out b15sentra.net. I was sweating that car when I first heard about it. Now I don't car for it. A lot of the owners are complaining about quality. I hear it has a lot of torque steer. Also, a lot of the reviews I've read on it have a negative overtone. In a comparison with other "pocket rockets" it got like last or next to last place (in case you're wondering, the MP3 won the comparison).

I thought the interior was really crap. And I'm a tad dissapointed to see the performance figures on the car continue to drop. I can remember when I was working at the dealership and this thing first came out...it was supposed to run to 60MPH in the 6's and the 1/4 in the 14's...stock.

blahhh the insurance on cars these days cost as much if not more then the cars....
