well, make sure you keep us posted on the outcome of the race. i've raced 2 from clubrsx to end all the b.s. stories between the 2 cars. you can't imagine how bad some of the race stories are over there. there's only one way to findout the truth between two cars. have both drivers be a member of the forum, that way both can tell both sides of the story.

wow, you guys are a little too quick to call bull****. That my friends Jared w/ the RSX, and sorry to dissapoint you, but his car really is fast. Please dont get on here and get mad at me, but hes not lying.

yea...guys, hes not taklin SH1T or anything, he just wants to see what an equal driver in a GTS can do.

In all honesty the RSX should pull hard off the line
and we should be able to catch up later due to Drag Coeff and Weight.

Other than that its a really close match all drivers being equal.
You guys forget that the RSX and Celica GTS, besides RSX being heaver/bigger motor and gts being lighter/Smaller motor
(which kinda evens them out) well...basically they are the same car!!!
same suspension setup, same lots of things.

Therse a reason our clubs get together, we are both in the same areana of performance...same TYPE of engine technology.

Jared is a really cool guy so don't hate on him if you haven't met him. Hes a really nice guy in person, so don't think he was trashing celicas, he just wants to see where his car stands as of now.

This race, if it takes place, will be 100% friendly. I refuse to get into fights over a CAR race.

I will race him, sam can have a go too if he wants.

never said that an rsx-s can't beat a gts. it's the way he spoke of the race. in 1st the gts had a 1 car lead and by the time he shifted into 2nd he was nose to nose and by 3rd he was gone and the gts did a fly-by in 4th when he shut it down. he also said that when he races other gts that he knows he'll win even easing 1st gear w/o launching real high. that's what made me go fu#k!! i've ran them enough to know that's not happening to a gts/6speed unless they mis-shift, or don't push to 8200-8300rpm in every shift. every race i won and lost vs the rsx-s was always by a nose, door, rear wheel or bumper. whenever someone won by 2-3 cars it was because of a mis-shift.

the two cars are so identical in the power/weight ratio dept that it'll come down to who gets the better launch or jump. that's from a stop, roll or a top end run to 140mph. neither car will pull if both drivers push it past near fuel cut-off in every shift..

i'm not tryin' to justify anything about anyone.......or trash talk anybody.......i raced a black rsx.....type S?? i don't know.....but it was by Kareem's house.......i don't know how good of a driver he was or how fare the race was........all i know is that i won 2 out of 3........i never dawged-him out or bragged about it....because it's something we do everyday......sometimes u loose....sometimes u win......it's something common in race world......sorry Lauren....he's ur friend and everything but he didn't have to talk about us like that.......i read the forum...over and over.......i can't help it but to think that he is talkin' trash about us based on a single race.......that's not right.......and if he wants to? i will race him......if he wins??...mad respect......if he loose??...he's gonna take back everything he said and post it on forum........i think that would be fare!!........

oh yea i just read that post on the rsx forum like 4 times...i'd rather not coment on the obvious manner your gentleman spoke of the celica. i'll just keep my mouth shut about how can you not see it.

sam, he has never talked crap about us, Jared is cool with all of us, he was at the meet. the celica he raced was the white one ive told you guys about who talks crap about TCC. Hes really rude and insults all of us and our cars. Hes the one to be mad at, not Jared.

thank god i'm not the only one who thought so. he made it seem that he'll walk every gts by one race. damn, when i ran the rsx-s for the first time i beat him by 1.5 cars and i even said then that both cars would be very close and when i ran a 2nd one i still said it's a driver's race between the two. when i raced a couple of the the guys in clubrsx pretty much backed up what i said between the two cars.

i read the clubrsx post back b 4 it was two pages long. As an avid GT-S owner i know that i the RSX is quick ,but heavier than our car. i don't know that guy well enough but i have met and talked to him. i believe that he was boasting. i would boast big time if i beat a type s with my slow ass GT-S..(something is wrong car is just too slow). so maybe the other driver missed agear..(not keeping VVTL) but hey it's not nessisary to get all outta shape about this...

Damn, some of you guys just don't quit. Jared's race story is real, though I admit he may have exagerated a little bit. Don't forget that in street racing, there are no "do overs" when somebody mis-shifts. I'm not sure where you got the idea that he was talking **** either. Unless it's the part about the AEM stickers adding 25hp. I'm pretty sure he was joking about that because he has AEM stickers too, plus some DCSports stickers on his quarter windows. That's probably why he won -- more stickers :P

i'm not saying that he "didn't" beat the gts. it's the way he described his "future" encounters with a gts is what were debating here. i'm not going to question if someone says that they beat a gts cause it's 100% possible, but if someone says that he'll walk every gts out there then, that's completely different. the way he made it seem in his post, is that whatever gts he'll race he'll win hands down and he doesn't even have to drive that hard. that's what were questioning here not whether a rsx-s can beat a gts or vice versa.
