Well I've been planning on get one for a while just had to wait for it to get here. Today at 9am I got the call and went down and traded my celica in for a brand new 2003 Spa Yellow S2000. 2 Yellows came on the truck today and both sold, one was to me. Here's some cruddy pics but enjoy anyways!

really..i didnt hear that.....i just heard that they were gonna be restyled a little bit...they are nice and fun to drive but its almost impossible to launch them and run good times with them becasue of there clutches..they are kinda weak...i know because i was trying a lot to launch one from a stop and the first time... cold clutch the thing slipped..and it was pretty new also...and if you tried to slip it purposly off the line it would just burn up and the hotter it got the more useless it was..

on another note..i just sold my celica for an insanely good deal..ad i bought myself a 6 spd tt supra mkiv...BPU...395rwhp at 15psi im gonna turn it up to 18 psi and see what i can do...but i gotta get it first...it takes 2 weeks to be preped and shipped from the tuner i bought it from...ill post pics some pics when i get it...i have alot of plans for the car...hopefully i will have close to 500rwhp on stock twins by end of summer....hopefully

Ok 300 miles to go until I can vtec. I must say this car is amazing fun! The chasis is very rigid for being a convertible. The suspension is stiff! You feel everything on the road just as you should with a true sports car :D Turn in and response is great!! It will see it's first autocross on sat, me excited hehe :D

one thing i miss about the celica, no more 29mpg hehe but the 9grand redline will make it all better :D

Not even close to that here. The amount of celicas here in vegas are getting ridiculous. To top it off very few of them are even into the car. You wouldn't believe how many older ladies you see here everyday in gt's. It's also the worst in the area of town I live in. The S2000 I see at least one day and he's a friend of mine that livesi nmy neighborhood. Besides that I might see another 4-5 on the street in a one week period. I'll see those same people again next week lol. Not very commen here.

I didn't really get the car to drag race. In fact it'll see autocrosses and roadcourses more than it will see the drag strip. But yes you are pretty right the car is tough to launch to get a good time in the 1/4. If you want a decent drag time you have to dump the clutch from 6000-7500rpms. Once you find the right point they hook very well. Just don't ever try to slip it to launch it otherwise you'll have a very nasty small that last for quite a while.
Congrats on the supra they are a whole other animal of car. I got to play with some during supra invade vegas and it was insane. A friend of mine just who was BPU just went single. HKS T04R kit to be exact. Once he gets it wworking and running right with his new fuel system and vpc it should be rather sick and he plans on trying to autocross it :D

Karim, did your GT have moonroof, alloy wheel, foglights and a spoiler? It was a manual right?

Karim
06-04-2003, 10:29 PM
yes, yes, yes, and yes but it was at auto not a manual.

I saw a few mustangs with dual exhaust that was enclosed by the rear bumper. First I thought it was a kit, then 40 mins later I saw another. Is that standard on some models?
