on the faq on nc.org it said the caliper paint should be able to withstand temperatures of up to 14000 degrees. i found paint
here (http://shop.store.yahoo.com/rodi/duphigheaten.html)
but its only rated up to 1200 degrees "intermittently". should i look for something better? the price is really good. but red calipers, i think, look awesome i wanted to do it right (when i get the car lol) thanks!

i doubt it makes a huge difference, the actual caliper paint i got from pep boys was only up to 1000 degrees or something around that, and it's worked fine on my car.

I used 500 degree engine paint and it has worked out just fine.

Unless the Celica's brakes are thermonuclear ;), 14000° is a typo. I'd guess it's supposed to be 1400°

lol, I can see it now. Every time you hit the breaks your tires melt.

lol ... thermonuclear ... ok yes bad typo ... but thats part of what defines my newbiness! i just didn't want the paint to melt off during braking or somthing stupid like that.
