Problem with lift

Ok so i have about 66,500 something miles on my celica. Lift works just fine every gear except 1st gear... it won't engage until 7k rpms when it normally engages at 6k rpms.

Has anyone else ever had this problem or know what could be causing it?

I'm gonna get a full service and tune up done here soon... but any other advice would be appreciated. Thanks

could it be that bolt problem? there was a thread about it awhile back

The bolt problem involved intermittent lift engagement, not something like this. It could be worth looking into however.
