When was the last time you hit lift?

....ummm, about 15 minutes ago.:) In fact, I hit it about 6 times on the way to work! I find myself leaving slowly off of lights to allow traffic to get ahead of me, just so I have enough room to play a little bit.

I don't make it up into VTEC that often. I don't really need to in order to enjoy driving the car.

I agree it does count and it is a lot of fun to chirp into second but on my last tank of gas I didn't rev over 5 but maybe once and I got 34.6 MPG

Are you on heroin?
You don't need a GT-S to rev up to 7k....

I think he was referring to the fact that you still can't hit lift at that point with a GT. No biggie, just a technicality.

Typically I only do it a few times a day. Most of my driving is highway driving and I don't want the state po po's busting me. I do have one spot I do it everyday on the way home though
I haven't hit lift since I was in NY for christmas. So sad :( Where I live there is so much snow and ice on the road hitting lift puts you at a speed you don't want to be at.

How so? Is the fuel cutoff higher over there? Or are you going by the reading of the stock tach? My stock tach tells me my fuel cutoff is over 9k.

You are a f*ukin idiot. This topic is about people feeling lift withdrawl. A GT was asking if him revin to 7k would count.

Do you have a reading defiency or something?

Gettin lift. I gotta tell ya it was nice!
I was leaving a parking garage today. Pulled up to the gate and there was a group of people walking by. I hear this guy say "Man, thats a nice CAR!,.. MAN, THATS! a nice car."
My car was already warmed up cause I had just parked it in there like 10 minutes before. So I cruised out of the lot, and the road was open, I punched it ..hit lift, I could hear it echo in the parking garage. It sounded great! It felt great!
Guess I was showin off, but dang that felt good!

Right, and I was simply taking it a step further. Do you have a problem understanding similarities? I simply took it up a notch.
For example...How about reving to 9000? You'll need more than a Type R to do that.
Are you finally getting this, or do I need to explain further?
