So lately may alarms been malfunctioning, so i had to use the kill switch to turn it off. Anyway, now everytime i try to start the car the battery is drained! btw i have an avistart 3300 if that helps. this is so frustrating.

So your battery keeps draining with the alarm disconnected? If so, you probably have a bad battery. I know our stock batteries have that color indicator thing, but that sucks. Take your car to an auto parts store and have them run a battery test on your battery (it can stay in the car).

Oh man, yeah the battery is dead, but that's not the problem, the brain of my avital 3300 is fried... the best buy guy who installed it said he's never seen it happen before. he took the brain out and left all the wiring in, if i just buy a new unit and hook it back up, will it work alright?

Yeah, it should all work. But I would have Best Buy get you a new one under warranty. Don't pay for another one.

Call the alarm company or even the place you bought it. If they are authorized to deal that online, you should be all set.

The same thing was hapening to me but it was because i have one of those glo emblems and it was hooked up to my low beams and i guess with the rain the emblem wouldint light up any more and while it was still hooked up to the lights it would drain my battery and stall while driving slow
