I am sure it has Apex turbo kit in there, so yeah it can run.
Its nice but can't get rid of the feeling of too many sponsor stickers on the car, it almost cover the whole car :(

too bad it's proably going to be canned soon. it's a wonderful car. even if turbo was not an option they should have dropped the 2zz in there instead. so at least its comparable to the turbo in terms of hp.. just my rantings... beautiful car tho...

I like that, kinda look like an RX-7 that way. The wing actually makes the car look better IMO.

I believe mr-2's are only "complete" with the hard top. I read somewhere that the bodykit it is sporting is very rare. Only like 400 produced. I hope they dont can it. Its a cheap midship. Only 3 like that, The elise, vx220, and the mr-2.

I don't care if it's carbon fiber and gives the car an extra 100 pounds of downforce in the rear.

Please remove that hideous park bench!!!!

The wannabe road racer enters the garage. Yippee. The decals and wing fit on the race track but not for the road. Sure the kids at the shows are wowed, but hell, when does a wing or decals get excessive? My answer is...here. There's a high probability that if this car isn't an actual race car, the wing will never see its true purpose. If there isn't downforce applied by it on a regular basis, why have it? I've already answered that. Nonetheless, the kit and wheels are solid.

it's a SHOW CAR...

say it with me now... SHOW CAR

they do it for attention... at shows, on the road, from girls...

i know, i used to be into it also...

he has an AWESOME SHOW CAR... to each his own...

i think the park bench flows well with the wide body... at least he has a turbo to back up the looks a bit...

:werd: Is it really that hard to understand? I mean, thats like people who buy 18s or body kits that just add weight. ITS SHOW.

Read it with me now..."Sure the kids at the shows are wowed, but hell, when does a wing or decals get excessive? My answer is...here." Its all a matter of taste and yours is different than mine. The problem is that the 16 year olds that are wowed by such a car at the show go home and do the same to their mom's hand-me-down Prelude or CRX.

When I think about it, its not really the car that I have a problem with, its the dumb kids that tastelessly mimic the real deal, but honestly if I was trying to set an image and display my business advertising, it wouldn't be in that mode and if I was the owner, I'd sure as hell make sure I was getting paid by each and every sponsor located on the car or the decals wouldn't be displayed on my car. Again, its a matter of taste and I wouldn't do a business service if they weren't doing any for me in return and would not also try to get an authentic race (or movie) car look by applying decals. Sorry its not my style from a business or personal perspective.

Sure its show, but from my perspective, its overdone. It wouldn't be hard to understand my perspective if you weren't so sold on your own.

well hey, everyone has their owns tastes... i wouldn't drive with all those sponsor stickers on my car either if I was not receiving anything in return...

but hey, i say, for free parts, a sticker is worth it.... or, keep your car stock and have the fresh clean non-stickered looks...

whatever floats your boat :wiggle:

I agree I would need a discount on parts or something for their sticker to be on my car.

F35-JSF

If they paid for my car I wouldn't sport that many stickers on my car. I would be ashamed to drive it in public.

Everytime I hear someone say this, I ask them, "Have you ever actually DRIVEN the car?" And their response 9 out of 10 times is, "No."

Sure the 1ZZ-FE doesn't seem like it'd have enough "umph" for the Spyder. But it's power delivery matches it's MR design and it's already flat torque curve is emphasized by it's extremely light weight. Carving through the twisties top-down in it is just a feeling unlike no other.

...then again, carving the twisties top-down with a turbo in this light car is even more fun. :D

How sure are you this car dont goto the track? If it doesnt, Im sure it serves its purpose...."a show car". Show car = attention getter=decals, wings, bodykit.

There are more classy ways to get attention than looking like a cartoon.

Every JGTC Spyder in the GT300 class actually has this kit (slightly different). The amount of MR-Ss in the GT-300 actually outnumber almost every other type of car in there.
