i slid on ice, and hit something. My right door is messed up badly, but its isolated, the damage, its just the right door, the fenders weren't touched. The damage is like this, imagine taking a baseball bat(like flintstones had, the big one) made of hard plastic, and just hit it once or twice on the door, and the metal just goes in. Anyone fix something like this before? How much did it cost? i'm going to get an estimate tomorrow, but i want to have a rough estimate so i dont get totally ripped off. thanks.

I dont think it should be too much.. they probably can just straighten it out and use filler.. that's the cheap method.

The best method would be to get a new door and have it repainted. That will cost you a bundle..

Sorry to hear that. The snow storm we had was pretty nasty. I try to avoid driving in it no matter what. I had to drive to work during the storm on Saturday night and it was bad. I tried to take all of the main roads and I made it safely. If I took the backroads I usually take I would probably still be stuck in a ditch somewhere.

Hmm....If there isn't any damage to the paint, and it is just dented in, you might be lucky my man. I had a dent on my fender...I took my car back to the dealer.....and they used a vaccum type thinga majig and poped the dent right out. Hee hee...and best of all, it was free of charge!!
