Can anybody tell me how to turn something black and make it shiny on photoshop?

to make it black, you can play with the brightness / contrast, or you can add another layer, paint it black, then adjust the opacity of your original image.

as for making it shiny, im guessing you mean lighting??? theres a filter for lighting, and you can adjust the angle of the light, intensity, etc.

wat he/she means is...when you move hte lighting down to 0 to make the image black...the parts that supposed to "shine" or the "glares" on the body..disappear....

i dont know how to do this..but i jsut re-draw the glares
