I'm driving down with Scott (Autxr) for just the Tour event. Scott's driving his car and co-driving with Bryan (NoCones). I'm co-driving Eric Peterson's Spyder. I'm pretty sure that Donna and Charles (pitcrew) are going for both events in their new GT. GH mentioned that he will most likely bring the GT down for some fun also, which could mean an interesting year for GS. - Aaron

I'm on the fence for going for the Pro. Originally, I was going to drive down for the Pro, fly home, work work work, then fly back for the Tour and drive home......but given all the kooks with wired Nikes out there, planes are not giving me the necessary comfort level at the moment.

To drive down there just for a weekend is a serious hike from Noo Joisey. 1250 miles, exactly the same as Topeka. If you do 80, and stop for nothing but coordinated bathroom, gas, and Happy Meals to go, it is still a 16 hour trip.:(

I still may go, but what is more likely is hitting some summer events that I have previously passed on like the July Peru Tour and the Oscoda Pro. We'll also know by then how the class is shaping up. Though I ain't worried about those annoying Neons.

Over 1300 miles for me soooo I'll stay home and listen to the web cast (if it's on)

Car could be ready if needed but probably not, just lazy.

We'll be there for both events. I'll be driving the Celica most likely as we don't want to have to bring two cars and all the support stuff.

Hey, I'm wishing too. We don't have that much high caliber Celica drivers here in the West Coast.

Yup, I'll be there. Aaron (B1mmer) and I are driving down on Thursday/Friday - will be there Friday before lunch.

We're caravaning with a WRX driver, maybe he'll have some "problems" on the way. Friday night he might find that his mixed drinks are all double shots...

Bryan (NoCones) will be co-driving with me, hoping for revenge from our last event where I beat him by 0.026 seconds in his own car.

I'm going to play tire warmer in Ft. Myers though, so maybe he will get an advantage - or maybe I'll just flat spot the tires on the first run.

Maybe I will go after all.... granted, not in a Celica. ;) It is quite the haul from here though, and Pat's doing the roadrace at VIR that weekend, so I'd be going by myself.... :( Who's the WRX driver you'd be mixing melon creepers for? ;)

The WRX driver is Tom Hoppe from here in Raleigh. After a few events last season in his WRX he suddenly went from a back of the pack driver to beating us all up - on street tires.

Pat's going to be doing the race at VIR... :(

I'm still putting a check in the mail for it tomorrow, since I can always just call and switch the entry to Petersburg or another Pro, but I'm not totally committed yet, despite $1000+ going into the car in the last month for basic maintenance (the 200K tuneup!)...
