It's not so much the wax as just being careful not to let anything touch your paint and then move.. even dust that you wipe can swirl up your paint..

You can try claybarring and using something like 3M Swirl remover on your car and then polish it and wax it .. that should keep it looking nice for at least a couple of weeks.. :) heh..

Or go one better and use some of that Zaino swirl remover, which should last a bit longer.. but the swirls will always come back eventually.

Black cars are a b!tch to keep looking nice..

Black cars are a bitch to keep clean, no doubt about it. But a little extra care and the right tools and it's not so bad. Those swirl marks can be kept to a minimum by making sure you use nothing but 100'% cotton towels to wax and polish, along with a lambs wool wash mitt for cleaning. That will help minimize the problem. To reduce them I use a product called 3M Foam Pad Polish once a year to buff 'em out, then Zaino to hide what's left and bring out the shine.

Works for me...

go through an automatic car wash thats what i do--j/k Use a brand new terry cloth EVERY time u wash ur car. A terry cloth that was used before may look clean, but actually has a buch of dirt on it that u cannot see. Over time u will see swirls on ur car. And of course wash ur pimpmobile top to bottom from horizontal to vertical panels.

You saw what my black Celi looked like when I had it, and it was like that b/c I never took it to a gas station/dealership car wash, always used 100% terry cloth towels and the products from Zymol, you just can't go wrong with them. Ask Ryan I turned him onto these products as well.
