If you couldn't buy a GTS celica would you get a GT celica or would you get a different car? What do you think?

I think at the time when I bought mine...Yeah I would buy a GT. Now....I would have waited an bought something I really wanted like an STi or a G35 coupe.

I probably would still get the GT right now, the looks are too sweet, and the neon and protege are nice, but they just don't have the same appeal to me.

depending on what you want to use it for? Speed try WRX or SRT4 for speed, if going for looks Celica GT ofcourse :D
Later when you save enough money hopefully David Draper will have his turbo kit ready which means you will be able to go fast also :D

Quit double posting whore first off and I didn't buy a car I didn't want. I did want the Celica. For many reasons. For 32 mpg vs the WRX 23 or the Tundra's 18. For the nice linear power band vs the WRX peaky one. For reliability and not having to worry about it. I am still happy with the choices I made and if I had to do them again who knows...

I see no double post.... Stop trying to mod here. I didn't know what you wanted back then. First you were looking at supras, then you and your dad are up at subaru & then you show up at my house with the C.

At the time All I wanted was the Celica. My dad thought the Subaru was good. The Supra came later and was never really in the running due to the enormous amount of work to get it running. The WRX entered the family as a happy medium between all out sports car and family sedan.
