short shifter question

i have a 2001 celica gt ... 5 speed manual

i bought the car in the beginning of july

so my question is:

how do i know what short shifter to buy?

i've heard that some of the late model 01 models have different shifters ... how will i know if mine is?

B&M and TRD short shifter will work for your car. They only changed the gates on the gts not the gt.

so the TRD shifter will work with the 01' GT and not just the GTS?
