View Full Version : WRX STI / Sydney Motor Show

Well I was @ the Sydney Motor Show a few weeks ago and got to see the new WRX STI version. This car is going to be on sale in December here in Australia and is spose to be headed for the US according to the guy i spoke to from Subaru. Unlike the last STI model this one is going to be an ongoing version with no limited #'s. That means the price is going to be AU$55k ~US$28k ?.
Anyways the guy mentioned that the changes from the normal model WRX is that is has a 6SPD gearbox, ungraded turbo and intercooler with Variable Valve Timing and LSD both front and rear. Bigger Brakes and some changes to the interior and exterior namely the bug eyed lights a slightly different. They claim a 0-60MPH time of about 4.9secs. Here it is @ the show -

Those are some nice pics of cars you saw at the show. Thats going to be awesome if the STI makes it over here to the US. So what kind of power does it make stock? Later.
