Just a quick update to satisfy those that are dying for some information.
THE MEET 2002 - A Toyota / Lexus Exhibition
Memorial Holiday Weekend - May 24 - 26th

At this time Autocross, Dyno, Drag Racing are locked in for Saturday 25.
Show&Shine, Raffles, Prize Giveaways, Trophy Awards are all on Sunday 26th.
There will be other peripheral activities on Saturday and Sunday.
I'm currently working on a special activities for Friday and Sunday.

I'll have info on hotel, dinning, night cruising, car wash, etc.... at a
later date.

The Dyno Challenge schedule is 4pm - till at SPI Power Excel -
www.spipowerexcel.com will consist of 3 pulls every 20min. It's important
to make reservation at this time for a particular slot. Also, it's
important that you provide basic information to determine specific class and
grouping competition.
Example of the slots:
4pm - 4:20pm
4:20 - 4:40pm
4:40 - 5:00pm
5:00 - 5:20pm
5:20 - 5:40pm
5:40 - 6:00pm
6:00 - 6:20pm
6:20 - 6:40pm
6:40 - 7:00pm
7:00 - 7:20pm

Note:
If there are overwhelming response beyond the number of slots, then possible
addition slop opportunities will be provided on Fri, 5/24.
Also, anyone that had they car Test&Tuned on 5/24 at SPI will have their
peak output apply to the dyno challenge.

Prizes, awards, and trophies will be contingent on how many and types of
cars participate in the Challenge. All prizes will be distributed on
Sunday, 5/26.

BTW,
I have lots of prizes and stuff in my home for raffles and giveaways. There will be other trophies and gift certicates and prizes too. I have an AEM Cold Air Intake to giveaway also, I think its for the 2000 - 01 GTS.

i just remembered about this. now i gotta start making plans to go. i think i'm just gonna go on saturday morning and hang around all day and check out the activities :D

still wanna go? we should meet up like 6-7am and go. i don't plan on competing in anything obviously, i dunno if you want to.

since it's bracket racing with different classes, it wouldn't be such a bad idea for some of you guys.

BTW, Mike, probably the week after or sometime soon i'm gonna go back to the track in westhampton, lemme know if you're up for that too.

There is going to be 2 heads up classes and 3 bracket classes :

Heads Up Classes:
Supra Ultra Fast 8 (Fastest 8 cars)
All other Toyota/lexus Q8 (Fastest 8 cars)

Bracket Racing:
Supra Bracket- Dial your own all run
All Toyota and Lexus - B1 7.00 - 13.99
All Toyota and Lexus - B2 14.00- slower

Surprise GRUDGE MATCH:
I'm prohibited to state who the racers will be at this time, but all you need to do is visualize who are the pro drag racers on the east coast that races Toyota vehicles. It'll be best of 3 runs between them. Definite blast :-))

AutoX Classes doesn't really require detail description. Fastest car, model/type, around the course wins. Simply.
