Is it true when you get a car you tend to spot many others driving the same car?

I don't know why, but I've since I got my celi, I've spotted so many other celicas in my uni, hell I've seen about 6 besides me!!! that's still less than the no. of skylines there tho butstill...dammmnn that's a lot of celica's, I think i gotta go get a bodykit, just a rant hehe

Celicas are everywhere now. When i had my Celica there were too many.... I have 3 on my street, 2 on the street behind me, and I see at least 10 a day.

Geez must be the area. I know of about 4 other celicas in the area. And on occasion I see one but rarely do I see them and I've never seen one modded.

It is demographics I was going to say that. A lot of Celica owners here have sold there car and bought Z's or Rex's or whatever so there are a lot of them getting into the hands of new drivers.

IF people are reselling their cars it really doesn't add more Celica's out there on the road. But from what I know of CA in general I know a lot of people out there own celicas. Then again the big deal here is lexus, merecedes, bmws and infinities for the adults. Most kids have nice cars but usually not as a expensive as a Celica. Just the area I guess being suburbs few adults here drive a car under 35,000.

There's exactly 7 Celicas in my town, and I'm the only red one :D

damn... you know your town is kinda small when you know everyone's car. Out of town going to like Santa Fe or Albuquerque I see about 2-5 Celicas a day and around 1 NSX every day or two. 350Z's, WRX's, and Supras are a wee bit less common than the Celicas. MR2-T's and RX-7's are a rare site. Only seen 1 Lancer EVO8 so far on a highway a little outside of ABQ and no STi's.

I know there are 2-3 wrx's in the couple of towns around me, and I see 1 of them everyday, but when i take trips I don't see more than 1 more usually love it! celica was like, every corner

tons more wrx's than celicas... anywhere in california...

or maybe i'm seeing the same wrxs all the time....

or maybe the socal heat is getting to me.

Yah mustangs are really stamped out around here to. Lots of G-35's a fair amount of Z's coming out lately. I saw my first EVO today and 3 WRX's.

Oh yah also lots and lots of Maximas, Altimas, Civics, and Eclipses.

Celics I don't know it's weird I never see them I see tons more Vetts though.

I live near a naval base and I see about 20 mustangs/10 wrx for every celica I see on the road.

I see alot of Celica's here. All driven by older women. I really wish there was more of a younger following to them where I live. Then there's one real clean silver one with a complete Kaminari kit. I see him/her all over the place but always on oncoming traffic so I never get talk to them.

WRX's are seen more and more and a really good portion of them is modded. Evo's are also starting to come out of the woodwork.

I reckon when you own a car you tend to spot it more, like when i had my echo i spotted a lot, but yeah darn, should have gotten a ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ but too bad is 2 seater so not practical for uni :O

Yeah...I see the market is now flooded with 7th Gen Celicas. When I got mine in May of 2000 everyone was gawking at it and asking me about it. It was turning a lot of heads. I got that for about one year. Now they are a dime a dozen. It was fun to get the attention while it lasted. The car is solid and I love it. Just turned 60,000 miles. Got a throttle body cleaning and cleaned my MAF sensor and it feels like when I drove it off the lot. Celicas rock.

Yup when I got mine in 2000 I'd see another once or twice a week now I see 3 or 4 a day "just gotta keep moddin to keep it fresh".

hell i'm one of MAYBE 3 gt-s in town and not to mention a grand total of MAYBE 10 celicas almost all of them being stock

of course i see more riced out cavaliers and sunfires around here than anything, it's like domestarice central
