Went to the track last night...Pulled some consistant low 14's on the bottle on just my street tires(nitto 450's) on the stock 16's..Couldnt get tracktion the first part of the night, but I was killer on the MPH..I deflated the tires to 22 psi and was at least geting OK tracktion, but that compromised my MPH.
I just could not break a 13 last night.
Track conditions were lousy, it was cold windy and dusty..I could feel the wind on the car when I was lining up.
Best of 14.0@104
Worst on bottle of 15.0@104(lol, got tracktion?)
Best NA last night 15.1
Heres the slips I posted on next celica...

So far, my record times are 13.8@105 on the shot and 14.7@95 N/A..still trying to beat those...

Hey..that's not too bad...you can at least hang with WRXs and Mustangs now...
One question though..what else do you have in the way of mods? And when are you engaging the N20...
Are you doing it by hand...or having it done with a throttle and window switch?
That could improve your times considerably...
When are you hitting the N20, also..as in what RPM range? If you're doing it straight off the line..that's your problem for sure on those ones you had trouble with?
I'm going to have mine programmed to kick in at 6,400...since I launch pretty hard.
I imagine I'll have to screw around with it a bit to get the optimum time to kick it in, but I don't want to upset the balance of the car by using it to quickly.
How many runs did you get outta one bottle? :D
Thanks for the info, bro...you're helping some people out here..heh.

Actually, the WRX last night wasnt doing that good either, he had an adjustable boost controller and exhaust and he was only running mid low 14's. Ive seen the same guy run high 13's.
I hit it when I get tracktion...on the track, thats almost never..
The only thing that would give me better times is better track conditions, some slicks, and an LSD.

Hey dude, pretty cool. Nice trap speeds but you obviously need to work on your traction issues. Are you working the throttle or are you just flooring it and hoping for traction? With trap speeds like that you could be hitting low 13s or even high 12s if you get an awesome launch.

yeah, you should get an lsd plus maybe slicks before you do any other power mods...i hear the maxima guys can bust sub-2.0 60'(s) with just LSD + slicks while spraying a big shot off the line.
bryanh posted his launch technique a while ago. i forgot what it is.
