I have factory fog lights on my car but should I have a mesh grill put behind the kit?
Here's a pic of the TCS on a red Celica.

That's a very clean kit. It should look very good on your car. I would invest in a grill or else you might damage your radiator with road debris.

if ur cars not black you should get them middle of the front bumper painted black, or carbon fibered.. or just carbon fiber taped. that would look tight

Several fiberglass kits have that exact problem. It comes from poor manufacturing techniques and/or bad molds.

Well I droped it off this morning. I told him that I wasn't in a rush to get it back and I wanted him to take his time fitting it. He said it might be finished on Sat. and I can come get it Monday morning. :D
I actually think the fit on the red celica is really good. Better than the fitment on the white car TCS used to premiere this kit. I was told that this is the 2nd version of this kit and it will fit alot better than the first version.
I also gave him all my plastic pieces to paint to match. I'm gonna stick with the black and silver look. ;)

So far he seems to think the front and rear bumper will fit rather well. The side skirts need a little work.
I ordered the kit and hood scoop from MB Autosport. Total came to $790. Damn taxes. To fit and paint the kit along with the interior plastics I'm gonna spend $700-800. If anyone ever mess' with my car after this... I'm gonna rip their head off! This ended up costing me more than I expected.

I got the raised scoop too.
I just got off the phone with the shop. The estimate guy says that all the extra pieces and the size of the kit and my request for extra clear cotes on the front bumper takes the price to $1100 at the most. So I guess I could still get it outta there for a little cheaper than $1100.
I almost don't wanna drive it now. :ugh:

extra "clear coat" isn't needed or more coats of paint. It doesn't quite work like that. LoL, 1) factory paint is really soft. 2) a good paint job shouldn't chip that easy. you'll still get chips in your paint regardless of how many coats you put on it, i'm just letting you know. But, it's all about proper curing and making sure that the painting was done right.

I just got my car back today. The front is a lil off, but it can be corrected. If they are a decent shop, no need to worry. The other pieces fit good. I think that this kit looks hella clean. Also, this kit sits kinda low. I have Eibachs with tokicos all around and i have about 2.5 - 3 inch clearance in the front on 18's. So if your on stocks, you might wanna drive careful especially after dishing out 2g's for everything. Peace
