A buddy of mine has the Gt-S 6speed and we were wondering what the best type of oil to use under the hood, Synthetic or Regular OIL?

What are the postives and negative??

def. synthetic. mobil 1 5w-30. runs smoother and if you have to go a little extra before your next change, it has greater resistance to viscosity breakdown.

However, you shouldn't change to synthetic until like 3000 miles because synthetic oil is not as good at collecting minute particles that your engine produces alot when you are breaking it in than regular oil.
