VIP factory alarm peeps.

My factory alarm goes off for no apparent reason. My sensor is turn on to level 3. Everytime my alarm would go off, I would check to see if anyone or anything touch the car but no one did.

Anyways, anyone of y'all have this problem. If so, what did ya'll do to fix it or what would be the problem for people who know what it is?

I had this happen to me. It turned out my HID kit relay had rusted due to rain exposure and caused my VIP alarm to go off spontaneously.

Why would rust from the HID kit relay cause your VIP alarm to go off? I'm confused.

Good question. I can't tell you exactly why that was. I'm guessing it was some sort of electrical short. Once I replaced the relay the problem with the VIP going off and acting up stoped.
