My 2k gts lost alot of bottom end. I think it is running lean but I am not sure how to tell. I have to slip the clutch on a small hill just to start out normal. I put a Injen cai on but took it off because of the cel. Help

You would need an Apexi SAFC. to properly tune it youll need to go to a dyno and get it professionally tuned. itll help your powerband and get rid of the cel.

If you are running lean - you should be getting more power - unless of course you've passed right into the no fuel all air zone ... in which case - get your car to the d-ship right f-in quick.
Leaning out consistently will destroy the engine.
As for the intake causing you trouble... did you remove the battery for 5 minutes? I'm running AEM cai and a custom High Flow exhaust. The only time I get a CEL is when I discon. the bat for 10 mins and start it with cold (-25c) air...

MaasNeotek is right, if you were running lean you would be making more power, not less, so the power loss you are experiencing is probably not a lean burning engine issue.
You should not get a CEL if your intake is properly installed. The factory ECU should have no problem adjusting to the small amount of additional air that the intake is supplying the engine. I would suggest that you re-install the intake and double check your installation to be sure that all the hoses are properly installed and are not leaking. Then, I would suggest that you pull the fuse for the ECU in your fuse box for a couple of seconds to clear the ECU. Then, start your car up and drive it easy for a day or two so the ECU and addust itself to the intake and everything. I think that might cure your problem. Good luck!
