i don't race on the streets that much but sometimes when the stituation is just right, it's hard to resist. here I am minding my own business, when this new Civic ex coupe comes up besides me looks over and down shifts. He does it a couple of time. I can't really do much seeing there's a few cars in front of me. I say, nah it's just a civic and let it slide. Then about two minutes latter as I'm slowing down for a red light a probe gt pulls up next to me and rolls down his window and askes what I got done. I said intake and exaust. Right when I said exaust the light turns green and he just takes off really hard with an evil grin on his face like saying " yeah what's up, can you hang with my car look?" Well I said that's enough. I gave chase, but he had alread had a 5 second head start so I had to be sly and slowly catch up to him and take him from a roll. I catch up quick and low and behold the civic is there too. The civic in the left lane, and the probe in the right line. and no one in the middle. It was like they were waiting for me to race. So I pulled up in the middle lane, all of us neck and neck at about 45. hee hee, they probably don't know that that's right at the sweet spot for our cars. We all looked at each other laughing and just took off. My Celica filled the air with VVTi-l music and crushed them both. I thought to myself, "Man, that was too easy." Since I'm kinda new to the street racing "Lingo" I though maybe they was going to wait for me to honk 3 time or what ever. So I gave them another chance. I slowed for them, same senerio, civic left, me middle, probe right. This time I wait for them to take off, and then I followed. From 45 to 70 I had about 4 to 5 car length on the probe and the civic, well I think he just gave up cause my friends said the he was way back. I got the thumbs up latter from the probe guy and we went our ways. Sorry kinda long post.
