need tire help, i'm clueless

hey everyone well 1st off i'm new to the boards so HI hehe. ok anyway i just got a '03 celica gt w. the action pkg i don't know if that that matters but i wanted to get new rims i was thinking the konig blatant in silver 17x7.0....are 17's too big for the car??? also i've heard konig rims are really good any advice there?? and what kind of tires should i get??? any help at all on this would be greatly apperciated!!!!

17s wil fit ... make sure u get 5x100 bolt patern.. and ive never liked konigs.. i hear the bend pretty easily

check the offsets also. Thats another important part in picking out a rim. Konigs are a little sensitive. A friend of mine bent his on his Civic a few months ago. Now he has Rota Slipstreams.
