I finally got published+ New Tail Light Pics

Hey whatss up?? I got my car published in TYC catalog and it turned out at very nice. Well this is from the company I told you guys about before.

They currently make OEM replacement parts and just started this new division called TYC. They are making aftermarket parts just like OEM, no rainwater leaks, condensation, or bad fitment. Everything is also sea/dot approved and guaranteed to fit right no modifying.

Well tell me guys what you think about the tails. They are coming out in red, black, and in carbon fiber. They are still retooling them to fit perfect just like factory. They should be out mid to the end of next month.

BTW, is this for a magazine ad? Are you working together with kaminari? I just thought it was wierd that your advertising TRD and Kaminari when its an ad for the taillights. am i missing something?? If your just trying to advertise the taillights then id take out the text on the trd and kaminari stuff. It just takes away from selling your actual product. (not to mention some people will become confused on what kind of ad it is.) Just a thought.

Heres more about TYC and why I have no doubts that the tail lamps wont turn out like APC's or Yangson's lamps. TYC is top notch and their other tail lamps and head lamps speak for themselves.

Wow.......I really like those.. Im anti APC altezzas for the Celica, and man o man, I didnt think they could improve on the stock ones, but boy did they prove me wrong. Hopefully they wont be to expensive though. Very nice though.

I can't see the pics for our car. I get some type of error message if I try to click on a pic from here at work. And the Yahoo is erroring on me as well. Dam permissions. Anyway, I like the plain redded out tails out of all of those...the other two have no design at all. If tails are going to be black, they'd look better with black paint on the inside, and a clear plastic shell covering the tails.

I talked to them again recently about different projectors and they seemed very interested still. I told them to make something simular to the Type-M lamps that would be paintable. They told me if they did make the head lamps the price range would be $500 for the pair.

IMO the Type-M light looks like a freaking spider....it looks like it has 6 eyes or something. The new lamborghini projector design is very good.....

It was a one off custom job done by MB Autosports, although I remember seeing it done on a white Celi too.

This is what TYC sent me in regards for pricing on the tail lamps.

"Inregards to the price, it looks as the price will be set around $220-260. I can be wrong, but this is the ballpark retail price."

I am in the process of seting up a group buy for late febuary.
The group buy should be a little more r easonable, I just need some time to get things together.

sup Paul! If they like a better pic I'll try to make another one. Those projectors I took from the new Lamborghini lights. Those projectors are framed with an aluminum trimming, it looks really nice with the black housing.

i like the M lights slightly better purely because of the application i would use them in. i want the M lights because you could paint the outside housing, which is why i want them. i just got the 2nd gen altezzas (even though they are kinda ricey) but i'm gonna paint the exterior white to match the car leaving just the part for the red tailight/reflector and reverse light unpainted and M headlights would go really well with this.

however, i do think your design for projectors are VERY sweet and would appeal to just about everyone interested in projectors, especially those interested in projectors, but dont like the design of the M headlights.

The idea of the Projectors I made is that you can color the housing whatever you want. I just made black projectors because its easy to photoshop rather than matching it with the body color...

hey its quite possible to make those projectors that are photoshopped.

buy the Hella 90 mm high beam projector or something bigger, and stick it where the high beam part is.

keep the stock projector and slap in HIDs, regular halogens for the high beam, and you are set!

but it is easier said than done. cuz u gotta find a way to mount the projectors in, get them level, etc.

Yep he is right they are in production right now. I may get mine in the next couple of weeks but the rest should be available to the public within a month and a half. Im going to try to get a group buy started within the next two weeks the lamps. Paul

hey yall. i just installed a set of the tyc tail lights in my g/fs neon. the fit just like a glove. they looked awesome. too easy to install. they even come with a credit card looking card that states that the lights you have on your car are dot approved and stuff. if it is like that for our celis then we are set. too bad ours arent out yet. that sux:mad:

They are not out yet. This company I would assume are taking preorders. TYC just told me they are going to be shipped out in a month and a half on sat. That would put it out sometime in mid june.

My were aired from thier factory just for the Sema show. Also first shipment will only be 800 sets total.

If you guys want to get a group buy going with this company go ahead. I was going to do it but their price seems better then what I was quoted. Lates

I spoke w/ the distributors while at SEMA/IAS .. We're planning to carry these in stock.. No pricing yet.. until we get them here.. I would hate to get all your hopes up on a particular price. Then find out the price will be higher..
