Boost pressure really depends on a lot of things.

1. Charge temps: if you use a very high quality turbo kit with a correctly sized turbo and a good intercooler, the charge temps will be low, allowing more boost. Water injection can help with this as well.

2. Fuel: You're already running on premium most likely- this will be fine for low levels of boost. If you go to the track and fill up with 117 octane leaded, you can definitely run a lot more. This suits a lot of people just fine because they can't put down all of that power on street tires anyway. Keep in mind though that if you use leaded race fuel (which is best) it will eventually foul out your O2 sensors. Gotta pay to play.

Bottom line: there is no clear cut answer. 6psi on 93 octane is pretty realistic. For more than that in full street trim you'll have to drop the compression. Once you do that you can run a lot more boost, which is a huge difference.

I'd say with intercooling and good fuel sistem 8-9psi. That would be good for near 300whp....and 12.5 timeslips......Good for me...!
