S2000 antenna

how do you install the S2000 antenna?? do i need any tools?? or is it a really easy install......please explain how to install......im a newbie

Does it have good AM/FM reception?

All you need is your hands. You might need vice-grips or a crescent to take off the stock one - but the S2000 just threads in.

reception? Can't tell the diff from stock. :)

I just did it today!!!! You just take a rench and twist it off. then just screw in the other one. It cost me like 20 bucks. but it looks sooo much better

yeah i cant wait to get rid of that stock one.. i should be getting mine monday or tuesday from honda... it was pretty funny cause when he put the order in his computer.. hes like "wow.. thats the 6th order this week and i highly doubt their for s200s".. lol..

Yeah I asked the dealer when i bought it "so can this fit on a celica?" and he said "ummmm I can't garuntee that it will" But I remembered all my celica friends here said it would =-)

Is it best to twist the antenna itself, or the base, where the four notches are?

You want to twist the antenna itself at the bottom. Its a little hard to get started thats why I said to you the rench. then you just screw the new one on and tighten.

The reception is about the same.
