Why the hell did you do that?! Especially in cold weather, it's thick oil.... I say you risk damaging your engine.
10W50?
I'd get it changed back to what belongs in their ASAP....

I'm not sure very sure about the numbers on the oil but I think that oil is too thick for the engine.... someone correct me here...?!?! I put in 5w-30 systenic , Mobile One.... most people on their board usually use this.. I also have a GT. I did the converstion to systenic when I hit 10,000 miles

With what CelicaDetective said, I would change it... It may hurt your car in the cold mornings....

Well since you are in Florida I wouldn't worry about the "cold." It still isn't the most ideal oil. I used to run 5W50 in the winter here in NC and my car is fine. After doing a lot of research I've settled on 10W30 year round here in north carolina. You just don't need the heavier weight oil unless you are planning to run on a race track. Even then, it isn't going to help you any if the engine is sufficiently cooled.
The heavier weight oil is good if you have large bearing clearances, which we don't have, the thinner stuff will work just fine on a new engine like ours.
