Ive been reading a lot about this kit damaging your sideskirts. However, with three different kits going around by two different companies, Im confuse as to which kit if not all does this. Im pretty sure that Springmans old kit does it, cause of veilsideceli. However, he has a lot of added weight to the door. Therefore, does the Decah kit do this as well? What about Springmans second version of the kit, the one Eastbb has? Please peeps WITH this mod reply. I need the facts, not opinions. Thanks.

well i would imagine that if you have extra weight it's gonna happen regardless. besides, they are gas shocks after all, so there will be some settling involved. the shocks are adjustable but all it takes is one little drop and it doesn't matter if you adjust it or not if it already messes up your sideskirts.

on a side note i called carexcess yesterday and they were everything but helpful. after asking if there was anything that i could do they told me to adjust the shock :rolleyes: like i didn't think of that. they wouldn't even put me on the phone with one of the installers.

don't get me wrong i'm not bashing them in the least but they didn't seem to want to help me too much
