View Full Version : Doh, I killed one of my volks...

As usual cruising down the freeway and a big assed chunk of concrete is rolling around in the roadway going from my left toward the right side of the car. I swerved to miss the damn thing and almost did but it caught the very edge of my wheel and bent it.

Now since I have volk gt-n's they are a 2 piece wheel, the inner forged and the outer section is spun aluminum, does anyone know where I can get that aluminium part replaced or repaired?
The center section is perfectly fine, just the outer rim needs fixin or replacing.

I havent had much time to look into it just yet, but any info would be appreciated.

Nice wheels, I would call volk and see what they say, or talk to your local tire shop and see if they can fix it.

lafaygts: I'll call mackin indust. when i get a chance on monday or tues, waiting around on the weekend sux :(

ExiLe: i got them for $2600 about a year ago, with tires, shipping, mount & balance, and centercaps ($120 just for them, owie)

thanks for the replies and pm's so far guys. I added some pics so you guys could see it and what you all think of the damage and if its even repairable.. I would think so but ill find out for sure on monday.
