I raced an ultra rare Toyota Echo at the drag strip.

I raced a Dodge Viper today...well, at least I was racing. We were both turning left onto a two-lane street; he was behind me. I turned into the left lane and went up to about 5K and then shifted into 2nd. I saw the Viper move into the right lane to pass me, so I redlined 2nd, and looked to the side, expecting the Viper to pass any second....nope, shifted into third...approaching redline look over again to see him pull up next to me and give me a weird look. Hit 80-83 mph and he gunned it past me with ease. I was like, "Hells yeah" and wanted to give him the thumbs up, but he hit the 100s before I hit 90 and let off....he was gone. A couple lights later, I caught up to him and watched as he shifted (I assume) into 2nd and saw the tires spin and the car drift to the side a bit till he got grip. So much power should be illegal :)
