remove the center console. do this by putting the car e-brake on. now remove the plastic around the shifter. then you are left with the climate control. unsrew it. now you are at the radion. remove the screws. now disconnect the wire harness from radio. make sure you check out the TSB section for the wire codes. attach the wires plug it back in and test it out. you should test it before screwing everything back together. i forgot to test one time and i wanted to kick my a$$. good luck on the install.

by the way, what HU you get?

After putting the E-brake on you need to lift up/ pop off the silver panel that surrounds the shift lever and contains the ash tray. There are no screws holding it down. If you have a manual I think it would be easier than auto to get your fingers under the boot and lift up. Next pull off all the AC control knobs. There will be some screws underneath to take out. Not totally sure but there also may be some screws on the lower side of the AC control panel that need to come out too. Then you can carefully pull off the whole plastic panel. Once removed you should be able to see exactly what screws hold in the HU.
