what kind(brand) of engine flush or trans. flush do u guys use?
it costs $100 to get a trans. oil change @ my local toyota dealer..
they said they use some kind of chemical to flush the sys.

well, engine flush should be available at any parts store....I can't remember what I used the last time I flushed an engine, but the tranny flush would be harder.....is the trans. auto or manual?

I've never even heard of tranny flush. I'd like to hear more about this.

you coudl tyr Auto-RX or Schaffers Neutra for both engine and tranny cleaning. Go ask over on www.bobistheoilguy.com forums they are raelly knowledgable about this.

hmmm, I've never heard of flushing a MANUAL tranny, but Mistri, yeah there are flushes for the Auto tranny. Basically the fluid gets pushed out by force thru the tranny lines and body, still it takes about 80-85% of the old fluid out.
