okay this will be my last servco rant...
i kinda realize its useless to post this kind of info because most of you just dont care...
anyways the service manager mr. tengan from toyota city called me and let me know how sorry he was for all the bad service etc...
he made no excuses just said that he would try harder to convey to his service department the importance of servicing the customer because its their bread and butter.
what really surprises me is all of you folks... please... dont be an apathetic group... there is a lot of power in numbers but you all gotta remember that each one of you is important and unless you speak up no one is gonna hear you.
anyways... thats it...
BTW... id like to thank Chris who just joined this board for all his help in the past with my Matrix. Chris, you are one cool guy and I thank you for bending over backwards to help me even though you didn't even know who I was! thanks a million... servco needs more of people like you!

No problem Scott. Hope you have better luck with your new car.(I've been thinking about getting one too. I'll get ragged on again for it though, but who cares.) If you ever do get another Toyota and need anything just give me a call or shoot me an e-mail.
BTW
Tengan is the General manager for Toyota City.
He's probably gonna go chew out the service manager. hehehe

actually now that I think about it, I did send in one of the survey things. I got one after my first service. I put down my concerns and I never got a call back and was never sent one again after.

Nope not yet. I'm kinda thinking either the Si or A 350z or a IS300.
I cant make up my friggen mind. Its like I want a different car every month.hahahaha. Already drove the IS and the 350. Fun cars. But both in the 30k range.

those go to the customer retention center and the dept gets graded on the overall score. Not exactly sure how that works though. I dont know if they call you based on the surveys.

Glad to hear that they do indeed take notice of your complaints dude. :) Alas, I haven't finished mine up. Like Jon, I've sent in that survey thing a long time ago too, as well as given them my opinions via phone surveys.
I'll be done with it soon tho. Been getting sidetracked alot at home and haven't spent a lot of time online, outside of occasional goofing off at work. ;)

Well I got my car back from Tony Honda this afternoon.
My experience was EXCELLENT.
Here's what they fixed:
- Passenger side rear interior piece was discolored. Replaced
- ignition bonnet was scratched up. Replaced
- Drivers side mirror had some weird film on it. Will replace, part is on back order.
- Tomorrow the entire car will be buffed out and detailed as well as 2 very minor dents removed.
Great service. The guy who sold me the car even came down on his day off to make sure everything went smooth as well as drop me off at my house. That was just too good. I hope it stays this way!

i dont think weve decided when to have the cruise other than after import showoff, which actually would me more like the end of summer
