i was supposed to get the car back today and my dad called down there around lunch time... they said they detailed her and then tried aligning her but the rack&pinion steering is messed up.... the wheel won't automatically pull back after you turn it... they have to order a new one and then install it... now the total cost of repair is going to be over $8000. im so mad :(

THE TOTAL COST OF REPAIR IS GONNA BE OVER EIGHT GRAND!

Read the text people, it's not just the rack and pinion that is costing for poor boy 8 g's.

Hmmm, you know you could get another much faster car with that kinda money, sorry to hear it.

Convince them that it will be cheaper to trade than to repair. 8k is just totally sick.

8k is a lot. For the future though run into the car. Then his ins. pays.

Why isnt your car insurance paying for the repairs if it was an accident?

when i had my short block replaced, i was quoted at 6500 for engine + plus labor at sloane toyota of glenside in pa...but... when i proved it was THEIR DUMB TECHS fault, i was covered under warranty. so 8 k in repairs for suspension components, side skirts..etc...sounds wayy too much. try showing ur parents this site..with all our opinions, and maybe they will feel there is two sides to every coin,.
