Okay, so I left my sunroof open last night and it rained this morning... this is like the THIRD time this has happened to me and I do NOT want there to be a fourth.
Sooo... Anyone want to help me figure out a way to have the sunroof close automatically when you turn off the car? There must be a way....
Ideas? Anyone?

Maybe it can be hooked up like a window module. Like when you turn on your alarm your windows roll up. Thats the only way I can think of. But then you would have to have an alarm that would have that option. I have the Python 1500 and I had to add the window module. Works like a charm though.

i took out my front passenger seat and left it outside... yeah, it rained here last night too. have you had any problems w/ mold?
the sunroof should work just like a window, so I'd look into what Personafied said about the alarm.

Yeah... I need an alarm anyway... that really is what I should spend my state tax return on (If I EVER FRIGGIN GET IT!).... but yeah, if they can do the windows, they must be able to do the sunroof too... Good idea guys, I'll look into it.

Just train yourself, my car has never had an alarm and when I first got it I always left with the doors unlocked or the sunroof open, I'm too the point now where as soon as someone opens a door I automaticly reach over and lock it, I don't even think about it, it's just like breathing.

They do make rain sensor that will sense when it is raining and close windows. I have seem them used for wiper control and also on vents for motorhomes or campers. You could just get one of these rain sensors and wire it to the sunroof so it closes when it rains. You would have to wire the sunroof so it had a constant supply of power though,
