Since it seems no one else has posted yet, something that has come up a lot lately.

Wheel Weights. Spring is coming fast and this will be more and more important to a lot of people. As "we" get ready to purchase wheel/tire combo's for the spring/summer/fall.

The current wheel weight chart link isn't available as it has been killed by too many requests. If anyone or yourself has that archived it would be a very very useful tool.

I second that suggestion about the wheel weights.

Maybe get the 1/4 mile chart up? I don't know if the links dead because you just don't have much data, but I for one would enjoy seeing the variety of times that our car is capable of.

or a parts rate and review section. have it broke down into different catagories ie. engine internal, engine external, exaust, suspension etc etc, and list aprts available for that section so users can rate and review how they liked the specific item. for an example go to www.stangnet.com and click on parts review. i used this when i had my mustang. really helpful when looking for a certain mod. i hoped this helped larry.

you need more info on the main page. Maybe re-work some good technical threads around and acrhive them or something. But there's really not much content on the web page besides the forum.

also info on the new matrix as well would be nice since it is sharing our drivetrain.....

That parts page mentioned above sounds good too.

Well, when you attach a picture, it will show it instead of providing a link. But that would waste more bandwith so don't follow my suggestion until you solve that problem first. It's just a convenience feature I think some people would like.

a list of specific weights for celica items would be nice. Such as the hood, the stock wheels (15 and 16), etc.

I list or links to stuff we can do to our car, and/or who has products-specifically for our car. I'd hate to buy something and then find out someone else has the same thing for cheaper. It's nice to see exactly what we can and can't do for our cars.

gj on keepin up this site, it's hard work--i know

i think a page with lotsa wheel info like peoples experiences with diff wheel sizes and fitment....there are soooo many people who ask lots of questions about offset fitment n' such like me =)....so a pages like this would really help...

Like what wrenchhead said, have a page for people to review aftermarket products so we can get a better idea of what we are gonna get. plus less questions will be asked on the forum if they are already answered there.

What about removing the feature that sends out e-mails when people reply to a post? I don't know how this affects your bandwidth but I personally don't like it. Maybe you could make it optional and not an automatic function that has to be unchecked by the user to disable it like I usually do.

Now that I think about it, you could make showing people's signatures the same way; so that it does not appear automatically with every post. Most people's sigs are pretty useless and must take up bandwith. It's a nice option in the mods forum and elsewhere when you want to list mods or give people a little info on who you are but not necessary every time. I usually uncheck this too.

I have a friend that does web hosting. He would need to know:

1. How much bandwith in a day, week, month? An average for the past 6 months would help me understand the needs of the site.

2. What script are running?

3. Remote access.

4. Amount of space needed.

5. Current plan [space/bandwith/price of current host.]

I will forward this information to him and tell you if I can help.

1. How much bandwith in a day, week, month? An average for the past 6 months would help me understand the needs of the site.

i only have stats for the last 10 days :) thats when we hooked up on the new site with the stats program.. average bandwith has been 3.7gigs per day..

2. What script are running?

right now.. only the forum software which is PHP based.. Vbulletin

3. Remote access.

only one FTP account would be needed..

4. Amount of space needed.

right now I have 800megs.. the more the merrier.. the site just keeps getting bigger..

5. Current plan [space/bandwith/price of current host.]

800 megs, 35gigs of bandwith, 80 month..
