I don't think it's bronze... I think it's chrome and the light is reflecting off of it.... looks kinda like the sun is about to set.

Actually, There are only 20 Celi's AT MOST w/ these doors. It's just that there are so many getting it done in a short span of time. I was at the NOPI event in MD this past weekend and I was the only car there w/ the doors. Don't ever compare a 2000 dollar mod to 100 dollar crap like altezza's

The doors still close like factory. You may have to adjust the screw every once in a while so it will close without hitting the latch hard, but other than that, there are no leaks or problems.

Do the doors rotate straight up, or does it move out away from the car first then up? Either way it just compliments the exotic looking nature of the 7th gen Celica. Definately a sweet ass mod and I love the look. :thumbup:

wow. I didn't know that it came out that far out of the car. That really sounds interesting. You guys obviously had to have a reputable shop to install those kits well. I really really need to see one in person.

not really man, I know I had mine done at Carexcess, but I could've done the install myself in my garage. It's really an idiot proof install. Just unbolt one set of hinges and put this hinge on. Once it's on, adjust the bolt so it closes correctly

Its pretty much just henges. I helped my freind do this on his integra. It took less then an hour with both of us going at it.
He got his set for $150 and the have worked for over a year now with no leaks. I am thinking of making my own.
But I will more then likely never get around to it. lol

First off, I'd love to see this integra. Post some pix or something. When I'm at shows and talk to others that have veticle doors on BMW's or trucks and stuff, they can't believe I only paid 2000 for my conversion. They always get pissed off cause they were paying 6-8 k to do their doors custom. I just laugh at them.

how does getting the lambo door conversion from carexcess work? do they send the parts to a nearby shop to do the work?

Nah, they'll send them directly to you. Once you get them, you can go to whatever shop you want to get them installed, or you can install them yourself
