see how it looks first and post a pic, then ask the same question.
i think leave the CF and black vent.
get a body kit before you get the hood so it will bring out that more aggressive look.

dude.... why pay $800 for that ?

i checked in with my bodyshop that has done all my mods and showed them the pic of that hood and asked if it could be done to my factory hood w/mbAutosport scoop and they said no problem

they'd mesh it and make it look just like a TRD hood for the supra or like the modena in the picure

approx cost of mod (painted and mesh'd) = $300

Hey what's up Glitch. Guess what? I got number 11 (I think, can't remember what number exactly, it's in the email). I think you should white with black vents. I dunno I think it would look nice. Even if you left the hood black, then paint the vents white. That would look good too IMO. See ya around. Peace.

whatta 'bout what i said about having the hood custom done - the way my bodyshop would do it ? cheeper and not worth the hype of only having 25

just my .02 cents

I am willing to pay due to the fact that if our two cars where togeather at a show and our hoods looked simuler mine would get more respect due to the fact that it is a rare Bo Studios hood and not a cheap copy.
Also a body shop herre where Ilive (Houston TX) wants $500 for the hood cut sealed and painted. And its not even carbon fiber.
It all works out.

carbon/ black.... here's my reasoning. Believe it or not, paint will add some weight. Ed bergenholts' new drag CRX front end is heavy as hell because of all the paint work alone. Also, the legendary Mercedes Silver was derived from their bare aluminum bodied race cars. The huge engines were so heavy, they had to shed the paint to get under the 7500 kilo limit.

Tune to live, live to tune.

yea the paint does make the bergenhotz crx heavy..but the paint is phat as hell..along with the new front end...they added even more paint due to the fact that the whole front end is actually bigger than the one it used to have...my solution would be to use their old front..even though he paint wouldnt match for shiet (completely diff. design) ...for the racing..then slap that sweet new front end for the shows..the only problem i see is that they gave away the old front end here in houston at import expo 2...so scratch that idea. the benefit i see of having the bos hood is the way the vents are..cuz no one has it..but as soon as people start getting it custom done then it wont be as special anymore....it'll still be cool to say u were one of the first....honestly..if i had the easy extra cash i'd prolly buy it..but i dont so if i ever did get it..it would hafta be custom..and cheaper...hopefully
