I am having a hard time finding a shop that can give me a wheel alignment. The first couple of shops couldn't do 18" wheels. So I went to the toyota dealership and they told me my car was to low (hochkis springs) and they would not be able to fix the negative camber I had in the rear. I told them to do what they could but my car wouldn't fit on the lift (to low). Anyone with 18" and a drop had trouble getting an alignment and could they get it back to specs?

How low is the drop??? If your shocks/struts are bad even a 1 and 3/4" drop might be down to a 2" drop if like I said the struts and shocks are bad!! Sounds like you may need a camber kit, perhaps call up Hotchkis and get them to make suggestions. Great people there I am sure they will help as much as they can!

I doubt my shocks/struts are bad yet because my car only has 4000 miles on it. My drop seem like a normal hotchkis drop, roughly a 2 finger gap. I have read that the celicas have neg. camber in the rear from the factory, so I don't know why the tech. was suprised to see neg. camber on my car when he saw it?

you gotta me smarter than your average mechanic.... tell them to frigging hook up your car and look at your spec. they can't do **** if they're speculating and using excuses not to get your car on the lift. i have hotchkis too and this shop i know got my car up the stall with a little inguinity (sp). they use a piece a wood as a buffer. godamnit i hate these ****ing dumbass mother ****ing dealers that don't know **** (yes i am frustrated about the dealers). when i installed my hotchkis, my rear camber slamed down to -2.1. i told the guy to get it back to -.8 for me, he did it with 2 person no problem. one guy was unscrewing the cam adjuster bolt while the other guy was dangling from the wheel. like i said, you just have to go somewhere that have smart mechanics... god i hate dealers, it's like they'll hire and dumb ass that took an ase test and passed via cheet sheet.

My car was slammed a good 2" on the ground with my ground control and koni struts combo. i took it to a toyota dealership my brother works at. he got one of his friends to fix the camber -3.1 drivers side and -3.9 on the passenger side- it looked very VERY bad. he got them both to .8 and it feels great now. he only wanted $30 for it too.
they used a piece of wood to help get me onto the alignment machine, worked pretty well too!!! sounds like your toyota guys are too lazy to do any work, can't figure out why that is though- they are there to take your money :)
oh by the way, i have the hotchkis rear camber links. titan was running a group buy for $200 shipped awhile back, not sure if they are still running that or not. look into it in the group buy section.
