...is the SH!T!!!!! I cant believe how good that stuff works! I had some kind of crud imbedded in my paint - when you ran your fingers across it you could hear the stuff in the paint, made a scratchy sound. First I washed and dried the car, then I clayed the hell out of it (took almost the entire day because I went over it twice). Then I layed a coat of Meguiars #9 Polish/swirl remover followed by a coat of Meguiar's yellow #26 wax. My car's paint is like glass now, you can't set anything on it without it sliding right off - very slick.

Morale of the story - if you keep your car outdoors, you gotta try the clay bar. (I think there are other brands, but I like Mothers stuff).

I agree man, the mothers stuff is the best. did you use the quick detailer, or did you use windex to lube it? my car was like solid glass, and 20 times as shiny once i finished my 3 coats of wax afterwards :) (btw buffers help ALOT!!! hehe)

I used the QuickDetailer that came with the bar. I didn't know you could use Windex...the directions say don't use anything but QuickDetailer (especially don't use water!) - Maybe its just a gimmick to keep you buying their products? I used the Meguair's brand clay bar several years ago and it didn't seem to work as well as Mother's.

Yeah I used the good ole orbital buffer too. It would have taken twice as long by hand!
