bLaH1031:
Yup, I'm using Photoshop 6.0. It's not very difficult to learn, but it's almost impossible to completely master since there are hundreds of different things you can adjust. If you're patient and have a good eye, you should be able to pick up the basics rather quickly. Just remember this: layers are your friend! Like with the pictures I just put up, the bumpers aren't on the same layer as the original picture (kinda like putting an overhead projector transparency sheet of the bumper over the original pic). That makes altering the bumper's colors and size/shape much easier because it can be constantly changed without messing up the original picture.

If you mean the first silver one, it's my fav too! :) That's an Acura NSX bumper.

I've been messing around with Photoshop 5 and 6 for around a year now, but I've only been able to do stuff like this in the past couple months. I'm taking a 5 month class at Brick Computer Science Institute on Web Graphics and Design (Photoshop, Illustrator, Flash, Dreamweaver, and InDesign). I knew how to do basic photo retouching-type stuff (colors, brightness/contrast, sharpness, etc.), but this class taught me about things I would've never figured out on my own, or without at least a book. ;) It's really fun, and hopefully I can find a decent job when I get out in mid-March (crosses fingers!).
