ZEX Wet Kit---Input...comments...opinions///

I was looking around for a nitrous setup and noticed that ZEX has released a wet kit for our cars. any one familiar with this kit? any input on what they think bout it? thanks so much. jon.

guy in an import shop in chicago has it on his GT-S. he really likes it. he has it set so it sprays on WOT. sorry, I don't know any details, but he def. recommends that kit.

I saw a kit on a gt-s it was a 75 shot.. sponsored by a store in seaside, NJ is actually on the boards.. seasidegraphix I beleive is the screen name.

yea i heard so far that the kit is really good. but to clarify, they didnt have a kit out for our cars BEFORE becuase they only offered a dry kit, now they offer a wet kit zex system. same thing as before just wet. sounds nice to me. might save up and get it.

ZEX is awesome.....much better than NOS. I've always wondered about Venom though - their digital control module always has sounded sweet.

I watched Rob from Turbo Magazine install a ZEX wet kit in an Acura Integra today while i was at XS Engineering. He did it in about 2 hours and it looked so easy. I could do one now. Makes me wonder if i made the right choice on getting the turbo.

So just get the Zex kit and tack it on. Hell, shoot for 11s. Put fear in the hearts of 99% of Honda owners in Cali for the rest of us.

Regardless of what kit you purchase to run 11s with the Celica would take more then likely a 100 shot of nitrous and slicks :)

all the wet kits right now run for about the same price... zex, nx, and nos. i went w/ NX cause i got a good deal on my kit... pretty much got the gen2 upgrade for free.

i'm guessing all the installs for wet kits are about the same... they basically have to be the same thing.. a bottle, a nitrous line, fuel line, a "shark" nozzle, and two solenoids.. throw in some switches and that's a wet kit. mine took a couple days, but i ran into some problems w/ the damn fuel line.

I know that Larry, but thanks. ;) When I said tack it on I meant add the Nitrous to the XS Turbo and see what that could get you.

i dont have a celica i have a matrix xr(1zz-fe) i been runing the zex wet kit 4 about 3 months now and no problems. went 2 a 75 shot a couple months ago. runs great.

yea its a good kit, saw it on two celicas in hershy this past year, clean setups and good power gains, reliable too....

Zex uses that box to regulate the fuel added to the engine according to bottle pressure as far as I've heard... so it seems it might be a little safer than the other brands...

regardless of if it does that or not, it still will not be the rated shot unless the bottle pressure is where it should be.. you can't make the hp w/o out nitrous bottle pressure, so make sure you look into a bottle heater if it doesn't come with one

yea i nodiced if press gets blow 800 psi it starts 2 drop off alot. im ordering my warmer 2marrow
