Some of you might remember me rambling about this mod a few weeks back. I finally got these neons on Friday. I picked them up at Tweeter. They had to special order red because nobody in the area had that color in stock.
I have affectionately named this the "3rd generation neon project". First was my footwells, which I like. Second was the green undercarriage which I ended up removing. I decided the neons were a ****ty brand. If there is anything I have learned from my days of ricing it up with neons is that you should buy the best brands only. You will pay more but it is worth it. Street glow just makes a better quality neon. They put out more light than anything else out there, I'm guessing because of the little transformers? Anyways..
Anyway, I installed them Saturday evening and man was I impressed. The little 9 inchers are bright as hell. One in the scoop and the other behind the Toyota logo. A third 15" neon placed by the radiator. RICETASTIC! It looks awesome... my sister told me so.
Anyway I drove to my friend's house and he took some pictures for me and I will post them up later.. today I hope.
