Hey fellas
A buddy of mine has a 350z and he bought different tires for it and is cutting me a hell of a good deal on his old ones which have practically 0 miles on them. Will 225/45/18s be OK with the Konig Tantrums and an offset of 35?

I think they're too wide, but I'm not 100%

I think (?) a 225/40-18 should fit, with the right wheels

Someone did just install 245/40-17 tires all around, so a 245 can fit. How well it fits, you'll have to ask him. Look at this thread.

But I think his wheels' offset is +35, other offsets might cause problems. And 245/45-18 is considerably taller than 245/40-17. So, I think 245/45-18 might be too much, no matter what the wheels' offset is.

225/40R18 no problem, but the 350Z comes with 225/45R18 up front.
The 245/45R18 will not work because of their overall diameter... they're just too tall.

Hope this helps

Your edited post now states 225/45ZR18... still to tall of a tire for the Celi :(

225/40R18 is as big (tall) as you want to go in 18"
