question on 4 channel amps

So i want to setup a system. I'm thinking of getting a 4 channel to save on $$. Do all 4 channel's work where i can use 2 of the channels for the components, then bridge the other two to power 1 sub?

Would have to 99.9% of them do. Be careful on the ohm load on the bridged channels though. The better 4 channel amps can handle a 2ohm bridged load.
