Don't automatically assume that Pyle has crap. What you should do is try to find one and take a look at it. If the screen is clear and has nice coloring, then get it. Don't zero something out because it's cheap.

I have the DVD player is it's GREAT. Mines play dvd, vcd, mp3, and regular CD. It also comes with a remote. I got it for cheap too!

Seems like a good deal, but with those types of headunits- Is that just a flip out screen that you have to connect another headunit on it to insert and play CDs and listen to the radio or is it like an all in one package?

well, test it someplace beforehand and if you like it, go for it.
i don't understand the comments "you get what you pay for". this is over 700 bux!!! thats a ****load of money. you cannot really compare this unit with other brands (phillips, clarion, kenwood, etc), since these units are heavily overpriced nad basicly you pay a couple hundred extra, just because there is a brandname on the unit.

anyway, clarion, phillips AND kenwood neither produce their own tft-displays. which actually mean, that there is a POSSIBILITY that the pyle display is exactly the same as the kenwood, etc. i don't know this for sure, since i never checked it, but it's all "made in taiwan" anyway. ;-)

i had a pyle amp a few years ago, it was actually pretty good. not the best sound quality, but it worked fine. i bet if u looked around on the internet u could probably find it for cheaper. i think a good way to see if a screen is high quality is that when u look at it from a side angle u can still see a clear picture. this is important since u do sit next to the screen in ur car.

Yeah, i used to have pyle in my 5th gen celica till I upgraded but it took a beating and still worked nicely the day i took it all out. I am now upgrading my celica go all Alpine with the all in one Alpine Screen but just depends on where u see urself down the road. U going to shows? U think ur celica will look nice in a show with that? If so then go for it.
