VR6 Corrado vs. my GT-S

This past Saturday a friend of mine just bought a used VR6 Corrado with mods (P-flow, Auto-Auth. chip, i think cams). Anyways, he wanted to see how he stacked up against my Celica. We raced 3 times all with pretty much same results.
So we went back behind some Industrial area and lined up. A friend counted off. I launch @ 3500, he starts to pull on me, but I gain once I hit lift. By 2nd I have a hood length on him and by 3rd I have a full car. All three races I beat him by atleast a car. Maybe the car he bought was ragged to hell, but I thought the Corrado was faster than that. He had the jump on me at every launch (ie. he has torque) but as soon as lift hit, I would gain every time. Anyways, racing the Corrado was pretty fun.

those cars over here, kick major ass on the autobahn(when modded) when not...well they still kick ass. Maybe that one was ragged like you said.

i remember the 2nd day i got my car a corroado vr6 offered me $100 to run him. i was like it's okay i'm still breaking her in and he kept egging me on and followed me till i pulled into a parking lot and he was still offering to run for $100. i'm like, NO IT"S OKAY!! a month later i see the same exact car completely wrecked from the front but was still driveable.

i did manage to run a few on the freeway and they're a good run for the gts if the VW is modded. they pull pretty hard once the speed get's up there. never got a chance to run the wrecked Corrado and it would have been nice cause right before i said no for the last time. he asked how much i had under my car and i said 180 and he's like forget it cause he's got 250.. i almost died laughing.. like i would care..
