Call me and my friends the DIY gang,..... our garage is so stuffed with other things, we cant put our cars in there..... We work on the cars outside ....so when it rains or snows.... too bad for us ..hehe...

We built a ramp using concrete mix, a mold from wooden planks, some cinder blocks, and more planks... We got it all at home depot and its cheap. Lets you work on the underneath of the car without jackin it up too ....

Our tools are simple, and i guess if we ever need more intricate tools, we just go buy em.... but basically our tools are normal everyday tools.... And youd be surprised what weve done with em....

Our ramp looks kinda fragile, but it can take a 2000+lb 3000gt ... so itll fit prob almost anything heheh ...

Heres some pix

vodox, I don't know if you win the best garage award, but you certainly win the bravery award. The curb weight of a 3000GTVR4 is actually almost 4000 pounds(3810 lb). You couldn't pay me to crawl under one while it is up on two boards that are duct taped together, LOL!

we got a regular two car garage. Inside is my dads 01 BMW X5(black) and my moms 00 Mercedes E320 (blue).

Me and my bro have to park outside :( he's got a 99 Eclipse GSX (white)

Now all we need is a digital camera to take pics!!! Anybody recommend a certain brand to get?

Yeah Vodox, you're pretty brave to crawl underneath a car with some boards with duct tape to hold it. From pics of the background it's safe to say that you're Asian.

Hey Mao, who has the Acura?

Un fortunately I don't have any pictures.

Up front (attahed to the house) is a 2 car garage, it is for the 2000 Celica and the '91 Sunbird (yuck). It also stores a few other goodies and such. I do the basic service and work on friends cars in the attached garage.

Out back is a detached garage. It is wired with a 50 am sub panel (220 volt) and in it I have my tools and project car ('73 Celica with 18RG engine).

There is a 60 gallon, 5hp compressor, a small welder, an engine hoist, engine stand, shop press etc. Pretty well equiped.

When we wired the back garage I also burried an air hose between the two garages, so i have compressed air up front too. The air in the fornt garage is nice becaue the compressor (noisy) is off elsewhere.

The Acura is my younger brother's car with me as co-owner for now. My name will go off the title once he repays the loan my Dad and I gave him. I do get to drive it when I want as he uses my 91 Camry most of the time.

Great car but I got my beefs about Acura.

Olympus 3040z but since you seem to be well funded, Olympus 4040z. Best camera I have ever owned. Either that or the Canon Powershot G2. Stay away from Sony as they are evil. Proprietary memory and poor quality in low lighting conditions.

I have owned the Nikon 990s before and I seriously think the Olympus is better but that is just me.

Poi9 I will have your pics up soon. Been busy as hell lately. Hehhee :)

I live in Wisconsin, and even though it gets dirty in winter, I have hosed it down and dried it off using a big squeegy (sp?) on warm days, and it still looks pretty good.

It will hold much more that you think. If the bearing stress of the wheel is distributed evenly over those CMU blocks they will hold about 375 psi. The wood will most likely crush before the blocks break, unless they are damaged or unevenly supported on the gravel driveway. The duct tape doesn't hold the car up, just the boards together.

I guess I have 0 bytes allowed.
So I can't attach pics.

Nice garage though, 3 car , '93' Celica GT, '01' Celica GTS, '90' Pathfinder, (4) 175 Watt Metal Halide independant switched, insulated, drywalled, rubberized paint floor, W ceiling,
Next mod: Fireplace, its in place but I gotta put in chimney.

vodox, shrink your pics!!!! 500K each, thats alot of bandwidth man.. have some consideration for the modem ppl.. it even took a while w/ my DSL.. plus consideration for the site admins who have to pay for all this bandwidth.. Its expensive to run a board.

back to the topic.. my garage sucks.. i just purchased a floor jack and some jack stands.. and i have some tools.. thats about it.

Ya man I luv my olympus. I also have the 3.34 megapixel Camedia. I just got the Wide angle/Macro lens for it. Its sick. The view and length you get with it is outrageous. I def recommend this camera and the 2 lenses I just got. The low light quality is second to none. I know most people dont like consumer reports magazine but the Camedia was rated best picture quality of any camera on the market.
